Where are classes held?
We are currently hosting our classes at the Clear Creek Brewery on Main Street in historic downtown Buffalo
Is there an age limit?
Regular evening classes are adult oriented – painters must be 18 and older. We offer separate classes for kids, and teens.
I don’t know how to paint…can I still come?
Clear Creek Brushes is all about fun! You will be side by side with folks just like yourself who just want to explore their creative side, and enjoy some laughs and learning along the way. By the end of the evening you will be amazed at the artwork you have created! Most classes are held Friday evenings and some Saturdays for kiddos. Classes typically last about 2 – 2 1/2 hours depending on the complexity of the scene.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Because of limited seating, signing up in advance is always recommended. You can register on the website or give us a call. Early registration is encouraged as sessions have both a minimum and maximum registration. If a class is sold out, please give us a call to be put on our waiting list. Due to last minute cancellations, we can almost always get you in!
What is the cost of a class at Clear Creek Brushes?
The price ranges between $25-$45 depending on the session and difficulty of painting.
What method of payments are accepted? Once you’ve proceeded to the CHECKOUT section of a class you will be given the choice to pay via PayPal, or choose ‘Cash on Demand’….which means we’ll accept exact cash or a check at the door.
What is included in the price?
You’ll be provided with paint, brushes, palette, easel, apron, a canvas sized to fit the painting for the class, and step by step instruction.
What do I wear?
While we will provide aprons, we recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on- just in case! Acrylic paint is like enamel house paint…you have a short window to wash it out of things, but once it’s dried….it’s fried 😉 Clear Creek Brushes cannot be responsible for any paint damage.
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to get registered, settled at your seat, and grab a glass of wine!
What is your cancellation policy?
Because of our waiting lists, we ask you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations should be made online through email or by phone. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We do reserve the right to charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled 24 hours in advance. (illnesses, and unforeseeable circumstances are always taken into consideration.)
When does the new schedule come out?
We’re just getting going on scheduling but will try to post the schedule at least four weeks in advance.
Can I BYOB?
Yes, you may bring your own drink of choice including coffee, tea, soft drinks, or bottle of wine. Beer will be available from CCBC during the class.
Can we sit with our friends or group if we all come together?
Our room keeps everyone fairly close in any seating arrangement! We always try to seat friends and parties together… just be sure to let us know when making your reservation and we’ll do our best to make the appropriate seating arrangements.
Can we host a party at our own business or home? You bet! We love being a part of team building, family memory making, birthday wishin’ plans! Please call our instructor, Lisa Norman (#307-621-0567), to check on date availability and discuss the details of your event. Clear Creek Brewery also offers private party rental of their facility if you need a great place to host your event.
Can I buy a gift certificate for a friend? Yes! Gift certificates are great to include in a card, as a thank you, or for out of town relatives to gift you a fun evening on the town. Gift certificates can be purchased right here on the site.
Can I request a certain painting for your schedule? We are here to please our art community, and are always glad for input on what YOU would like to paint. Please send your submissions to: email@example.com
